My parents did a good thing when I was younger, we always listened to the local radio station. Besides local news, obits, and some music, the local station would broadcast the area sports teams.
Since it would cost a lot of money for our family to go to the games, we always listened to football, volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball games on the radio.
Last weekend when I was home we listened to the game on the radio. I had forgotten how cool it was to sit there and image the players shooting layups and moving the ball down the court.
I wish more generations would be privy to that type of entertainment.
