Land of the Lost

Do you remember that Saturday morning show? I do. It was one of my favorites. Anyway, what was once lost has now been found--in a different sort of way.

My roommate, Myndee, and I decided to take a walk around 9 and we got back around 10. At 10:05 she comes in and tells me that she lost her necklace. So, our other roommate, Sara, goes along with us for the retracing of the steps. At least she knew that she lost it in the last half of the walk, so we only had to retrace about 10-12 blocks--and not down by the river. We finally found it, thank goodness!!

Betweeen the 2 miles on the treadmill, and the two walks this evening, I'm beat! I've already taken some ibuprofen, I'm just going to take a quick shower, read a chapter or two, then hit the hay. But, I can see the results of walking over time and that's what is fantastic.

In The Great Outdoors update, the couch is still there. I went and talked to yet another RA and she said if it isn't gone by Monday that the university is going to haul it away. As for the tuna, we can go ahead and pick that up ourselves. Erm, no. That's a little to disgusting for me--I hate seafood enough the way it is.
