Old News: I loathe Katie Couric. She annoys the shit out of me. When I see her I always think that she's past her prime. I don't find her funny or perky at all, instead I think she has an ego problem.
Ego=Problem=Insensitivity+Ineptness+Cockiness
While she may have been a good reporter at one time, I think she has an agenda when she reports the news. I think she only wants people to see her opinion on a subject. This is why I quit watching "The Today Show" about 2 years ago and recently started watching it again in June. I couldn't take the fact that Katie's stories and interviews were one-sided and tended to be on a more feminist side. That everything she did was to empower women.
You're probably thinking that this would be right up my alley, right?
You couldn't be more wrong.
I am a news junkie and I rely on the news to be reported in an unbiased manner. When I turn on the news I want to be able to see someone with whom I can trust to give me the news.
Katie, I do not trust you.
Furthermore, I am more and more concerned that she is neck-in-neck (barely winning, might I add) with NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. I wonder how many women are watching Katie just because she has a vagina and is reporting the news, er, her spin on the news? Wait, let me rephrase that, I wonder how many people are watching just because she has a vagina and no matter how bad her newscast is they'll keep on watching because a vagina in power is a vagina to role-model.

Never liked her. Never will. I almost lost my mind when she did her "farewell" on Today. WTF? She isn't God. If she was, I could understand why it went on forever, and ever. But it's just KATIE!!!!! It isn't like she was going away to Mars. However, that wouldn't be a bad idea...Sorry...Just felt like ranting along with ya! :)
