Jeff and I are thinking of going to a movie today. We haven't really been to the movies yet this summer and since it's hot out, we can't do much else, so we'll head to the cinema. The only problem is that we can't exactly agree on movies. The movies that are in the theater up the street are:
- The Ant Bully
- John Tucker Must Die
- Miami Vice
- My Super Ex-Girlfriend
- You, Me and Dupree
- Clerks II
- Lady in the Water
- Monster House
- Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest
The only movie I want to see from that list are Clerks II. I know Jeff won't go and see Clerks II with me (in fact, no on will--my family still scoffs and rolls thier eyes at me for the time I rented Clerks and they thought it was the stupidest movie EVER--I loved it). Knowing this list, I decided to check out another theatre that is known for playing movies that have been out for awhile, and the theater isn't too far away, about 4 miles:
- The Benchwarmers
- Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift
- Mission: Impossible III
- The Posiedon Adventure
- Thank You for Smoking
- X-Men: The Last Stand
- The Break-Up
- Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties
- Over the Hedge
- RV
- The Wild
Out of this list, I'd be willing to see Thank You for Not Smoking, X-Men: The Last Stand, Over the Hedge and RV. I think I'll try and convince Jeff to go to this other theater, unless he would want to go and see The Devil Wears Prada. I'm guessing that's a no.
But, I really want to see X-Men or RV (duh! Jeff Daniels is in it!)
