Enjoying The View

It's been years since I've enjoyed The View, but I'm watching it willingly right now...and guess what? I'm enjoying it because one certain person is gone. It's not Meredith Viera, because I love her and can't wait for her to be on The Today Show (I'm happy Katie Couric is gone, too...But, please NBC, leave us Mr. Eye Candy a.k.a. Matt Lauer for many years to come). Instead, Barbara Walter's finally got smart and let Star Jones-Reynolds-or-whatever-she-morphed-into go.

Ahhh! The humanity! Being able to watch a show without hearing about Star's dramatic weight loss...yeah, like that was a natural process. Or! Her intirely-too-much-talked-about wedding and her husband.

Really, there was a time I enjoyed Star Jones. It was when she talked about being a prosecutor and was proud to be a woman of strong resolve. Now, she looks and acts fake.

Oh well. I just hope they can find another co-host who will argue with Joy Behar, because I love her witty comments.
