He's Not President, But He Makes a Good Sidekick...

I watched Al Gore on Jay Leno tonight, and laughed my butt off! You cannot make up that shit coming out of his mouth. It was almost like 5-10 minutes of trying to keep eyes from watering because the laughter was a little intense at times. Gore was making fun of 'losing' the election in 2000, his personality, and politics. I can't remember it verbatim, so I won't post any jokes, but if anyone has transcripts of it, I'd sure like to see them! Man...just think if he had become president...the world might be one laugh closer to some peace.

QUICK QUESTION: Have any of my readers been on vacation to the Black Hills? If you have and you know of some killer things to do, or cheap places to camp, let me know...PLEASE!

I am so tired, and yet cannot sleep. I think part of it is that I just realized that my summer is pretty much over. Classes begin on August 30th. I feel like I didn't really have a summer, because with all of my car troubles and the summer class, I was basically married to my apartment and workloads. I do have the next two weekends open, so maybe I'll find something fun to do to make up for it.

I'm trying to decide if I should just give up my contacts and get new glasses or finally break down and get more contacts. I love my contacts, and I see great with them in, much better than with glasses, but they're EXPENSIVE! I haven't been wearing them a lot this summer because a.) I only have one good pair left and the ones I've been wearing are 9 or 10 months old b.) Bubs has seen me in glasses, because when I first met him (nearly 5 years ago *gasp!*) I had given up on contacts c.) I can't afford contacts, because they're VERY EXPENSIVE since I have astigmatism and need to wear special toric lenses (not to mention that I have to wear special soft torics because of scratching my eye with my hard contacts 2 years ago). Needless to say, I've only been wearing my contacts when I go out on the town, or feel like dressing up.

Judy, we're definitely going to a cave! Everyone has said, go to a cave, so we're going!
