A Review and Some Other Odd Dreams...

I am going to give what I think of the New HPATHBP book below. Because I don't want to give away any secrets, I am going to write in white and you'll have to highlight it with your mouse if you want to read my thoughts.

First of all. I found the book well written with many details, yet it was extremely dull-especially after reading book 5. It was not until the last two chapters that I fully was drawn into the book. I understand that we need a lot of these details for the final book in the epic, but I feel that much of the interactions between characters were lost, for instance between Snape and Harry. They hate each other, right? Then why wasn't more hate shown, especially in the detention chapters?
Enough about technicalities, the book was good nonetheless, and I did enjoy it for the most part.

I refuse to believe that Dumbledore is dead. He can't be dead, how can he just leave Harry like that? Without fighting back? C'mon, he knows occlemency, silent spells and everything else, even wandless, the most powerful wizard should be able to fight back--regardless if he drank Voldemort's potion which weakened him. It was obvious to anyone reading the book that the dark mark was a setup, and Harry had warned Dumbledore and was dismissed. I think Dumbledore and Snape planned for the Avada Kadavra curse and somehow bypassed it. Snape had to seem innocent for all of the Death Eaters, didn't he? With how smart Dumbledore is, maybe he made a Horcrux for himself (without killing anyone) and will come back.

R.A.B. still confuses me...but I'm wondering if one of the Black's still aren't alive somehow.

It's about time Ron and Hermione got together, but as far as Harry and Ginny, I'm a little perturbed. Harry, she's been your friend through all of this crap and NOW you think it's too dangerous to be with her?! HELLO--she's still one of your friends, Voldemort will come after her anyway--he already has once.

The Horcrux's are an interesting twist. So, Voldemort's evil keeps him alive, not surprising, eh? But, the idea of Dumbledore taking Harry with him on that fateful night still confuses me--why did he want Harry and the Potter Gang to know about the Horcrux's so badly?!

Many questions still to be answered...and that probably won't happen for another two years, dang it!

Other thoughts of the day...

Am I the only person having really weird dreams? And, not just weird, but really, really, messed up weird?

I dreamt I was living in the Sims world the other night. And, I wasn't alone, and we got a phone call and said yes. All of you who know the Sims world will know what I'm talking about. You see, you procreate in the Sims world by getting a telephone call...

Last night I dreamt that I was helping someone fight evil aliens and that I let myself get put into jail so that we could surive. I slipped her the artifact that we needed to be rescued and she took off to kill the aliens. However, I did get some nice buttkicking moves in on the aliens before being saved, so it was all worth being locked up. Was I saved?? I think so, but I don't remember anymore. I felt good when I woke up, so I'm saying yes.

I do know, however, that I had to start buttkicking the aliens while I was in a book store. Does that make any sense?
