I've talked to a lot of people and this is how it stands: 1:5.
I'm the lone number. Everyone else thinks this opportunity is fantastic.
I just wish they would walk a mile in my shoes. Experience my life, my wishes, my dreams, before coming to a judgement so fast.
Then again, that's why each of us has an opinion--and I respect the opinions, because I did ask for them. However, I am not excited about the opportunity, and will more than likely turn it down unless I find a fantastic reason not to.
Thus far, no one has given me a fantastic reason.
I'm headed back to Iowa this afternoon. I'll try to be online there if possible, otherwise I'll be back on Sunday and let you all know how it went.

I need to make up my fucking mind. I don't like the job anymore.

No matter what anyone else says, you have to do what you feel is right in your heart. If there's some reason you are uncomfortable with the opportunity, then don't do it. The worst thing you can do is take it and decide it was a mistake. There's a reason you don't feel right about it, once you figure that reason out, nothing else matters. Trust me, I went through this exact same thing about six weeks ago. I said no to the opportunity and a better one, one I was comfortable with, presented itself to me soon thereafter.
