No Longer an Orphan

Someone said after the death of Pope John Paul II that we Catholics were orphaned. And, I understood what he meant, because for me, Pope John Paul II had been the only leader of the Roman Catholic church during my life.

I hope that German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now known to us as Pope Benedict XVI, will have as great of a legacy on the church and world as Pope John Paul II.
