Mind Wide Open

Took Little Donkey and his football friends to Friday Night Lights Saturday night. I absolutely hated the movie when we got out of the theatre, but once I got home and had time to think about it, I thought it was genius.

In this country, we focus on money and winning.

In actuality, it's more important to possess pride, humility, strength, excitement, enjoyment and a sense of humanity during life, which is what the movie is about.

Well, that and a brotherhood of football players and thier parents and the town.

BTW, Tim McGraw totally baffled me! Who would have thought it would be such a great actor?
