Brain Freeze!

When you need to get up early in the morning, it would be nice if the house would be above 50 degrees! And, it's not due to an air conditioner malfunction. :) It's just that cold outside and we don't want to turn on the furnace!

Seriously, as I drove through LeMars at 9 a.m., it was 50 degrees. When I got to Sioux City, it was 53, and now as I came back through LeMars, it was saying 55. They're actually talking about wind chills today, and it's only freaking August! AUGUST!!! There's a crazy rumor going around that the first freeze of the year will be in the second week of September...ugh! I like cold air, but I like my summer, too!

I wonder how cold this winter is going to be?? I may need to go down to my grandma's in Arizona for awhile... or make friends in warm places! lol
