Sick and Tired...

I am tired of all of these rejection letters I've been shredding. Apparently, I'm over qualified (because of graduate credits) to teach at many places, due to budgets, and underqualified at others because I don't have my masters! GRRR! I'm starting to bite my fingernails, again ; I need to find a job! However, I officially start graduate school in January. I sent in the papers and contacted my advisor. Now, I just need to tie up the loose end of finding a job, and all will be right with the world.

Why do I find this so funny? I have always believed in public humiliation as punishment, and don't have a problem with the punishment. I truly believe if more people were punished this way, we would have much less crime.

I mean, it's nothing to be on probation, but to actually have the community see you do your time...that's classic. I know what many of you are thinking, "Probation does work." No, I'm sorry, I know it doesn't. Remember when I used to teach high school? I had about 10 students on probation, and they laughed about it. They came up with ways to beat it, or they would pick and choose crimes they knew they would only get probation.

P.S. I'll check my comments on Monday or Tuesday...my brother's computer has a pop-up block on it, and I can't figure it out!
