Still Happy!

Still happy, but tired. Around 10:30 this morning I seriously thought I was going to fall asleep in class. My eyes were slowly, but persistently, drooping and I was trying to figure out how to keep myself awake. I kept on going over the plot of one of my favorite screen plays, and that didn't help.

Eventually, I was let out of class at noon and I went out to eat my lunch in the sun, which woke me up. Well, either that woke me up, or a good healthy dose of the first act of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Checkov (my absolute fave play). The afternoon class was a breeze to get through!

Someone in heaven must be making miracles happen. My baby brother (can I still call him my baby bro when he's 15?!), Little Donkey, is one of the varsity pitchers for his (my former) high school baseball team. And, guess what?! The Bobcats won 24-9 over a school about twice their size!!! Now, his team has had maybe 2 victories in two seasons. This proves that there are good things to come--and I think Grandpa is watching over us!

Well, have homework to do! YAY! I'm so happy to have homework to do! And, I am being serious.
