Dodge This...

I took my youngest brother and his friends to the movie Dodgeball last night. I thought it was an ok movie. It had its bright shining spots, and a couple dull spots, but overall if I had to see it again, I would. Ben Stiller freaks me out as the crazy antagonist, but Vince Vaughn is great as the protagonist. They both have a personality that goes perfectly for each team. Even though you figure that the Average Joe's will win, there is a small plot twist at the end.

Many 80's and 90's jokes are imbedded in the story, as are a couple of disgusting phrases! One bar in the movie is called The Dirty Sanchez, I kid you not. My 15-year-old brother leaned over and was like...which sex act is that one? I answered him back and they started laughing even harder. Ick.

I had also forgotten how much fun playing dodgeball could be! I loved playing it in elementary school, and watching it was fun, too! I may have to find a team to play with!

If you do go see the movie, stay until after the credits are over...you will get to see the entire milkshake song by Ben Stiller. It's hilarious!

Overall opinion...3 out of 4 Sunshines.
