Disappointment
I'm a little disappointed with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I loved the movie, don't get me wrong, but there was so much information left out that if you didn't read the book, you would be lost. Even if you had watched the first two movies then watched this one, you would be lost.
To me, Professor Lupin's character was never developed into the werewolf that we've come to love. Snape was rarely seen (my favorite evil character--such a good actor), neither was McGonagall or Hagrid. And, hardly any quiddich! Prof. Trelawny (played by Emma Thompson) was just plain freaky.
I loved the ending though, with the patronus. GREAT scene!
I think I went in with too high of an expectation. But, hey, that's to be expected when you're a Pott Head!
On another note, does anyone else get annoyed with people eating popcorn in the theatre(theater for you Americans)? That is my number one pet peeve while in the black, acoustic cage, because you can hear every single little munch and crunch.
It is nice to live in rural Iowa when going to the theatre, though. We arrived at the theatre in Orange City at 9:35, about 10 minutes before Harry Potter was supposed to start, and I was scared there wouldn't be a seat for me when we got there. I had to use the little girls' room and get to the ticket counter. Boy, was I wrong. It took me about one second to get a ticket, then I went to the restroom, and got a great seat. Why?! Well, because we were the 4th, 5th and 6th persons in the theatre. Eventually 15 other people came in. We were, however, the first to leave the theatre a couple minutes after midnight.
And, I am getting a birthday present from a not-whipped-best-guy-friend in 4 days! So, if you want to send me something, too, it's PO BOX 59 in the town and state where I live!

I would like to send you a present.
What kind do of present you like?
Hey Mr. Not-Whipped!
Well, let's see...I like flowers, especially since I'll be spending my birthday at the hospital getting my foot probed again(my new street address is 208 Elm St.); long, dangly earrings (really cheap at Target); books; really funky socks; or a NICE birthday card!
You know me, I'm not picky--special--but not picky!
Dude, want to play chess online sometime?!
I'm a retard...I forgot I moved.... my new addy is 201 S.Elm St.
You're not supposed to know it was me.
Did you like the grammar of that sentence where I put do in the wrong place to trick you?
Yeah right, you didn't do that on purpose....remember, I used to be your copy editor! lol
