In honor of my last day of physical therapy... here is:

To know the extent of my pain (physical and emotional)

When I said I couldn't handle it anymore
Oh, Jerry, for all the times you caught me
When my foot, or life, was off balance
Oh, Jerry, for all the times you pushed me
Because you believed in me

Oh, Jerry, for all the lessons you taught
Take care of myself now, not later
Oh, Jerry, for all the stories you told
The morals will stick with me
Oh, Jerry, for letting me not settle
The pain is much less now
Oh, Jerry, for talking with me
And the laughter that would insue

Oh, Jerry, for telling me there was light at the end of the tunnel
I see it now

Today he told me he's in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. I've never seen it, but I think I'll make a point to now--especially since he's nervous about it! Ha! We talked about that because he knew I acted in college. I won't miss pt, but I'll miss talking with him and a couple of the pta's.
