How Sad...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Searchers found Dru Sjodin's body. She is finally home. To find out more, go to CNN.
How sad...someone with so much potential, and killed by a sex offender. [OPINION--I've seen some cases where people were hurt by sexual offenders, so I have deep contempt for offenders...there are probably offenders out there who can rehabilitate, I just have a hard time accepting it.] I hope the attorney from North Dakota files those federal charges.
Maybe it's my midwestern naivity, but this type of stuff doesn't happen here. It happens in California, New York or Florida--not North Dakota.
Ohh... and the day doesn't stop there... more fighting in Gaza. Hamas leader, Abdel Aziz Rantisi was killed. C'mon with all of the peace accords we've had over there, and Israel can't seem to listen--even when the US is on their side. We have enough problems in Iraq (not saying that what we're doing in Iraq is bad, I just think it might have been handled better), we don't need Israel messing around, too.
As if you can't tell, I'm a huge news buff. Read the papers, read the Internet, watch all the different affiliates...sometimes I just can't get enough. I probably would have gone the reporter route if I were more a confrontational person, but I only get confrontational when I'm backed in a corner, or you mess with someone I know. Then I get ugly, and very confontational, to the point where I've made people cry with my line of questioning...especially if I'm backed in a corner, watch out.
