Funny...

We get a severe thunderstorm warning and I'm all ready with my glow stick, matches and candles... the electricity didn't flicker once. NOT ONCE...and I'm laughing my ass off.

You see, the electricity here in what I call Hell, Iowa, goes off almost every other day for reasons unknown. The one time when the electricity should have gone off (because of the freaking high winds and the hail--which scared the holy living crap out of me), it stayed on. I should be thankful, but my demented mind can't stop laughing.

In other news, got two new pair of capri's, two new tank tops and two new pair of socks (one is Oscar the Grouch, the other is The Pink Panther) at J.C. Penney today. I'm getting ready for summer! Now...if I could only find a job.
