Judy Was Right...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yup... mark it down, I'm doing another mea culpa. Judy was right, the new Kenny Chesney CD grows on you. On the way to the hospital today the radio was fading, so I had to grab a CD from behind my seat, and the only one I could reach was the KC one. I rolled my eyes and scoffed, but still slid it into the player. WOW. I actually enjoyed the CD so much I listened to it on the way home, too. I think I didn't like it the first few times, because I expected it to be like his last one, with a lot of upbeat songs. I needed to realize that it's different. NOW I REALLY CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE CONCERT!!! [BTW--I found your comments from the last concert in my archives today, Judy.]
Speaking of different. Went to my podiatrist--Dr. Pike-- again today, learned that I do have RSD, it's just mild, so I'm on Celebrex for pain relief. The interesting part of my visit was when I learned that the other hospital I used to go to messed up, and I HAD not one, but TWO FRACTURES IN MY ANKLE! This was new news to me, and it explains a lot about what my PT--Jerry-- and I talked about last week with the floating pain. Apparently there's a fracture on both sides of my right ankle.
So Dr. Pike and I talked about how we're going to beat this pain disorder, and how things happen for a reason. Why is it that both she and Jerry think leaving my job was the best thing to happen to me?! Oh yeah, because I can move on and learn to manage my pain and learn to live with it.
