Every Light in the House is Off

I thought that getting ready in candle light would be so beautiful; it is not so. I don't see how people ever did it without electricty, then again, they had no thought of electricty, so it wouldn't be so bad.

First of all, the electricity went off 10 minutes before it was supposed to, and I was still drying my hair! Then, it's so dark that I'm stumbling to remember where I put the flashlight. And, I'm doing all of this at 5:50 in the morning; I'm not exactly awake. I managed to "fix" my hair, I may have to add this to a bad hair day list, and get dressed. Now, I"m going to go and try to put my contacts in as I've been surfing the next on my laptop for awhile. Plus, I have to get about 2 classes ready for the substitute.

I think it might be wise to add that one of my biggest fears is being alone in the dark.
